Television has already brought us a series about couples whose sexual mishaps sent them to the emergency room — and now, it’s giving us a look at trysts that ended in a run-in with the law.
On Feb. 6 Investigation Discovery is premiering the new series “Sex Sent Me to the Slammer,” which will detail the stories of people whose sexual capers ended in not-so-furry handcuffs. Each of the six episodes will feature two stories of lovebirds-turned-jailbirds, as told through first-person interviews and re-enactments.
In the premiere (clip below), a kinky couple celebrates Valentine’s Day with a sexy hostage scenario, which quickly gets out of hand when the cops get alerted to the potential abduction. Other stories this season include a geriatric couple who go at it in a diner’s parking lot, and a virgin who hits on a woman at a bar and gets caught up in a prostitution sting.
“Sex Sent Me to the Slammer” will premiere back-to-back episodes on Fridays at 10 p.m. starting Feb. 6 on Investigation Discovery.
